What is included in registration?

What can I bring?


-Chairs -Coolers -Sunscreen -Umbrellas -Wheel chocks -Drinks/Snacks -Pets on a leash -Fire extinguisher -10 X 10 tent (please wait until all vehicles next to you are parked before setting up)




What is not allowed at the event?


-Grilling -Outside alcohol -Disruptive behavior -Unsafe/Illegal driving -Any kind of open flame -Burnouts (coming or leaving the events) Event staff reserve the right to ask you to leave should any rules or laws be violated.




Is there a rain date?


The rain date is August 22.

Is there entertainment/activity areas?


In accordance with the guidlines outlined by Kansas City, MO, we are eliminating any areas where group gatherings are encouraged.




Are there restrooms?


Restrooms are available near both entrances of the car show event field (north and south). Restrooms are also available inside The National WWI Museum and Memorial.




I can't make it anymore, what are my options?


If you can no longer attend the show, you can transfer your registration to another individual. Since this is a fundraising event for The National WWI Museum and Museum and the Kansas City Automotive Musuem, refunds will not be given. Please call us at 913-322-4227 to transfer your registration.




I am bringing a different car, is that okay?


Your vehicle registration guarantees your spot on the field regardless of the vehicle you have registered. If you wish to transfer your registration to another individual, please call us at 913-322-4227.




Will there be food or drinks for purchase?


There will be food and beverage options available for purchase.




Will there be vendors?


Yes. We encourage you to visit our sponsor/vendor booths.




How much is registration?


Registration PLUS is $40. Regular Registration is $30. Museum members receive a $15 discount.




Are there discounts available?


Museum members recieve a discount of $15 on any registration.




It looks like it could be hot, will there be shade?


In accordance with the guidlines outlined by Kansas City, MO, we are eliminating any areas where group gatherings are encouraged.




Are you selling t-shirts?


There will be no t-shirt sales this year.




Are there activities for kids?


In accordance with the guidlines outlined by Kansas City, MO, we are eliminating any areas where group gatherings are encouraged.




What time can car show participants leave?


For the safety of the public, we ask that you stay until the event ends at 3:00 PM. If you must leave, please notify event staff to clear traffic.




Is there judging this year?


Unfortunateley, due to logistics affected by the shutdown, there will be no judging this year.




Is there car show check-in?


You must arrive at the vehicle check-in (see map) between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. At vehicle check-in, you will present your temporary window tag to event staff. Your temporary tag will be replaced with a new special event tag. Groups will be sent from check-in to The National WWI Museum and Memorial every 30 minutes. Upon arrival you will be assisted by our event parking staff onto the field where you will park your vehicle the remainder of the event. If you have a vehicle trailer, please go to vehicle check-in first unless previously arranged with event staff.




When does registration close?


Online registration closes on July 15th or when it sells out.




Is there trailer parking?


Trailer parking is available on the south end of the car show field. Unless previously arranged, car show participants will need to check-in at the designated area (see map) before parking trailers for the remainder of the day. Event staff will assist you once you are on the car show field. Please do not leave your trailer outside of the designated area (see map). You may be
fined or towed.

How big is my vehicle space?


Registered vehicles get approximately a 11 ft x 20 ft space to park their vehicle.




When will I receive participant instructoins?


All participant information and instructions will be communicated the week prior to the event.




Can I purchase more tickets with my registration?


You can purchase additional tickets here.




Is there a VIP or Invitational area?


There will be an invitational area this year but no VIP area.




What are the event hours?


The event opens to the public at 10 AM and ends at 3 PM. All car show participants will need to be on the field no later than 9:30 AM.




What is the event address?


The National WWI Museum and Memorial address is 2 Memorial Drive Kansas City, MO 64108.




What safety precautions are you taking?


We are following all recommendations set by Kansas City, MO and The National WWI Museum and Memorial. We will: -Have several sanitation stations -Wear personal protective equipment -Give car show participants extra space to spread out -Mark any areas with high traffic with 6ft distance markers -Eliminate areas where people are encouraged to gather (shade tents, live music, etc.) -Reduce or eliminate distribution of sale items (t-shirts) and paper items (flyers/give-aways) We encourage: -Cashless transactions -Use of guidelines as defined by the CDC, or as appropriate




Is there spectator parking?


Parking is available on Kessler Rd, around the "U" shaped drive, and in the east parking lot (off Kessler Rd). Handicap parking is available in front of the Museum.




Is there offsite check-in for this event?


We will not have offsite check-in this year. Rather all participants will drive directly onto the field. A special windshield permit will be distributed electronically to all participatns the week prior to the event. This windshield permit should be printed and placed in the windshield of your vehicle to gain access to the show field.
